Alan Rickman was a renowned English actor and director who trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, performing in modern and classical theatre productions, including his iconic portrayal of Vicomte de Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award.
