The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Arthur Dent, a man whose house is about to be demolished, is rescued by his friend Ford Prefect, who reveals he's an alien researching a new edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." They flee Earth just before it's destroyed by aliens. Onboard the starship Heart of Gold, they meet Zaphod Beeblebrox, the President of the Galaxy, and Trillian, an Earth woman, as well as Marvin, a clinically depressed android, who joins them on their journey through space to find the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
