Hero at Large

An idealistic but struggling actor, Steve Nichols (John Ritter), finds his life complicated when he stops a robbery while wearing the costume of Captain Avenger, a superhero character he's hired to promote. He decides to dabble at being a superhero, only to discover it's more difficult and dangerous than he ever imagined. The plan to utilize Captain Avenger for political gain ultimately backfires, but with his girlfriend Jolene's encouragement, Nichols becomes a genuine hero when he rescues a child from a burning apartment building.
