Bandidas

In 1880s Mexico, María Álvarez (Penélope Cruz) and Sara Sandoval (Salma Hayek Pinault), two women from different backgrounds, team up as bank robbers to fight against a ruthless enforcer, Tyler Jackson (Dwight Yoakam). With the help of Quentin Cooke (Steve Zahn), they embark on bigger heists, competing for his affections while hunting down Jackson, who has betrayed the Mexican government. After killing Jackson, María and Sara decline to kill him, showing their growth as partners and set their sights on Europe, where Sara had attended schools and colleges in England, Spain, and France.
