Cast a Deadly Spell

In 1948 Los Angeles, magic and mythological creatures are common. Hardboiled gumshoe Phil Lovecraft is a PI for hire, hired by wealthy widower Amos Hackshaw to locate a stolen grimoire called the Necronomicon. Following a clue, Lovecraft goes to the Dunwich Nightclub, where he meets his old girlfriend Connie Stone performing as a singer and his corrupt former LAPD detective partner Harry Bordon, now a cruel mobster coveting the grimoire.
