The Mummy

Imhotep (Boris Karloff), an ancient Egyptian high priest, is revived when a British archaeological expedition finds his mummy and accidentally brings him to life by reading an ancient life-giving spell. Disguising himself as a modern Egyptian named Ardath Bey, Imhotep searches for the reincarnation of Princess Anck-es-en-Amon, who he believes has been reborn in the body of a young British-Egyptian woman named Helen Grosvenor (Zita Johann).
