El 7º día

The 7th Day (El 7º día) is a Spanish-French rural drama and tragedy film directed by Carlos Saura and written by Ray Loriga. Based on the Puerto Hurraco massacre, the plot follows a bitter rivalry between two families that started with an ill-fated love affair, and grows over three decades. The story centers around the Jiménez and Fuentes families, led by Juan Diego as Antonio, José Luis Gómez as Emilio, José García, Victoria Abril as Luciana, and Yohana Cobo as Isabel, whose lives are marked by violence, jealousy, and tragedy.
