In a bizarre twist of fate, a monstrous mutant leaps out of a TV screen and wreaks havoc on a family's life when a state-of-the-art satellite dish is installed in their backyard. As Sherman, his sister Suzy, and her metalhead boyfriend O.D. try to figure out what to do, they discover that the creature can be placated with food and television - but only until it becomes enraged again. This campy, B-movie horror comedy follows the misadventures of three kids as they attempt to survive against an alien monster sent from space, resulting in a film that has become a cult classic for its inadvertent humor and over-the-top performances.
