Biography

Chad Allen is a three-time Young Artist Award winner and GLAAD Media Award honoree who began his acting career at the age of seven. He gained teen idol status in the late 1980s as David Witherspoon on NBC's Our House and Zach Nichols on My Two Dads, before starring as Matthew Cooper on CBS's Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman from 1993 to 1998. Allen announced his retirement from acting in April 2015.
