End of the Spear

"End of the Spear" (2005) is a drama based on true events that recounts the tragic encounter between five American Christian missionaries and the Waodani tribe in 1956. The film tells the story of Steve Saint, son of Nate Saint one of the slain missionaries, and Mincayani, a Waodani tribesman who participated in the attack, forming an unlikely bond that spans decades. Years later, Steve returns to Ecuador and reconnects with Mincayani, leading to a profound revelation about his father's death at the hands of the Waodani people.
