Marcello Mastroianni plays Snàporaz, a man who voyages through male and female spaces towards a confrontation with his own attitudes towards women and his wife, as he follows an alluring woman on a train, gets caught up in a surrealistic feminist convention, and ultimately judges himself for his masculinity before waking up again on the same train.
