When sexist womanizer Steve Brooks is killed by his angry former lovers, he's given a chance to make amends in heaven, but with a twist: he must find a genuine love on Earth as a woman named Amanda. As Amanda navigates her new life, she must use her charms to win the heart of advertising executive Sheila Faxton, while also confronting the damage she caused in her former male persona and learning to become a better person, all while being pursued by Steve's best friend Walter, who eventually becomes her partner in love and life.
