Biography

Tony Roberts was a talented American actor, best known for his collaborations with filmmaker Woody Allen in six films, including Annie Hall (1977). He made his Broadway debut in 1962 and received two Tony Award nominations for supporting roles in the musical comedy How Now, Dow Jones (1968) and Play It Again, Sam (1969). Roberts also appeared in films by Sidney Lumet, Blake Edwards, and Herbert Ross.
