Brian Banks

Aldis Hodge plays Brian Banks, a 27-year-old former high school football star falsely accused of rape and sent to prison. After serving six years, Banks approaches the California Innocence Project, hoping to clear his name. With the help of lawyer Justin Brooks (Greg Kinnear), Banks devises a scheme with his friends to trick Kennisha, the woman who falsely accused him, into confessing on tape that the rape allegation was fraudulent. The film ultimately leads to Kennisha's recantation, and Banks' conviction is overturned, allowing him to fulfill his dreams of playing in the NFL.
