Godzilla

In 1954, after several ships are sunk near Odo Island, Dr. Kyohei Yamane leads an expedition to the island and discovers a 50-meter tall monster, Gojira, which has been awakened by nuclear bomb testing. The creature begins a rampage that threatens not only Japan but also the rest of the world as it attacks Tokyo, prompting Japanese authorities to deal with the sudden appearance of this gigantic threat. As Kyohei Yamane presents his findings in Tokyo, he estimates that Godzilla is 50 meters tall and has evolved from an ancient sea creature, becoming a terrestrial creature, and his daughter Emiko decides to break off her arranged engagement to convince him to use the Oxygen Destroyer, a weapon designed by paleontologist Daisuke Serizawa.
