The Dancer

The Dancer (2016) is a biographical historical drama film about Loie Fuller, a young woman from the American Midwest who becomes an icon of modern dance and lighting techniques in turn-of-the-20th-century France. Soko stars as Loïe Fuller alongside Lily-Rose Depp, Gaspard Ulliel, Mélanie Thierry, and François Damiens in this film about Loïe's complicated relationship with her protégé Isadora Duncan and the downfall of an early 20th-century icon.
