Day of Wrath

In a small Danish village in the early 17th century, a young woman named Anne is forced into a marriage with an elderly pastor after her late mother was accused of witchcraft. She develops sympathy for an old woman, Marte, who is also accused of witchcraft, and as their lives become intertwined, Anne finds herself drawn to the pastor's son, Martin, in a way that threatens the fragile balance of her own existence. As tensions rise and accusations mount, Anne must confront the darkness of her past and the true nature of the world around her, all set against the backdrop of a Puritan society gripped by fear and superstition.
