In this unexpected yet engaging sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil expertly balances multiple storylines as its titular character faces a complex web of family ties and dark new forces at play. Set five years after the first film, Aurora must navigate her own path as she prepares for marriage, while Maleficent is confronted by the neighboring kingdom's misconceptions about her villainous persona. As tensions escalate, a powerful fairy race known as the Dark Fey is brought to light, threatening to upset the fragile peace between humans and fairies.
