In the present-day, archaeologist Jack (Jackie Chan) often dreams of his past life as General Meng Yi, who was tasked with escorting a Korean princess back to China. Jack discovers his visions are based in fact and embarks on a journey to find the mausoleum of China's first emperor. Along with his friend William (Tony Leung Ka-fai), Jack travels to India to find a rare material that can create a zero-gravity field, which leads him to uncover the secrets of the past and his own reincarnation.
