Seance on a Wet Afternoon

Kim Stanley plays Myra Savage, a struggling psychic who, along with her weak-willed husband Bill (Richard Attenborough), kidnaps the young daughter of wealthy parents. Myra's plan is to extort money from the fretting parents and then use her psychic ability to help them find their missing child, improving her standing in the psychic field. However, as the story unfolds, Myra's mental health begins to fray, and her unsteady grip on reality threatens to destroy her and those around her.
