La montaña sagrada

The Holy Mountain follows the thief, played by Horacio Salinas, as he assembles a group of people from all walks of life to represent the planets in the solar system. The Alchemist, Alejandro Jodorowsky, trains them in mystical rites and divests them of their worldly baggage before embarking on a trip to Lotus Island, where they ascend the Holy Mountain to displace the immortal gods who secretly rule the universe. The thief, wishing to find the source of gold, ascends the tower and is taken as an apprentice by the alchemist, who declares, "You are excrement. You can change yourself into gold."
