Assignment - Paris

Jimmy Race (Dana Andrews), a seasoned New York Herald Tribune reporter, is sent to investigate a meeting involving the Hungarian ambassador in Budapest. He soon finds himself framed for espionage and must navigate the complexities of the government while trying to uncover the truth. Along the way, he becomes embroiled in a plot involving the highest levels of government and must contend with the charms of Jeanne Moray (Märta Torén), a woman already in a complicated relationship with his boss, Nicholas Strang (George Sanders).
