George Sanders
Biography
George Henry Sanders was a British actor and singer whose career spanned over 40 years. He was known for his roles as the wicked Jack Favell in Rebecca (1940), Addison DeWitt in All About Eve (1950) for which he won an Oscar, and Simon Templar, The Saint, in five films of The Saint series. His heavy upper-class English accent often led to him being cast as sophisticated but villainous characters.
