Hangover Square

In Edwardian London, composer George Harvey Bone (Laird Cregar) wakes up with no memory of a bloody knife in his pocket and a murder on his hands. He confides in Dr. Allan Middleton (George Sanders), who tries to help him deal with his amnesia brought on by discordant sounds. George becomes infatuated with ambitious singer Netta Longdon (Linda Darnell), but her manipulative nature puts Barbara Chapman, George's girlfriend, at risk. As the story unfolds, George's dark past and mental state come to light, leading to a tragic confrontation that will haunt him forever.
