Solomon and Sheba

In this biblical epic, King David's vision sets in motion a power struggle between his two sons, Adonijah and Solomon, as the aging monarch announces his successor. The Queen of Sheba, seeking to undermine Solomon's rule, conspires with the Egyptian Pharaoh, introducing paganism into Jerusalem and seducing Solomon. As Solomon's reputation falters, he is saved by the Queen, who ultimately comes to regret her plotting and helps him reclaim his throne. In the end, Solomon emerges victorious, but not without divine retribution, as a deadly famine afflicts the land and a miraculous healing of the Queen brings their tumultuous relationship full circle.
