House at the End of the Street

A mother and daughter move into a Pennsylvania suburb where a nearby house was the site of a gruesome double homicide committed by a 13-year-old girl named Carrie-Anne Jacobson four years prior. She is revealed to be Elisabeth Shue's character, Dr. Sarah Cassidy's, real-life daughter, who has been kept in a secret room by her older brother Ryan (Max Thieriot). The mother and daughter, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue respectively, become embroiled in a dark web of secrets and lies when Elissa starts a relationship with Ryan, who is harboring a shocking truth about his sister's fate.
