Jojo Rabbit

The film follows Johannes "Jojo" Betzler (Roman Griffin Davis), a ten-year-old Hitler Youth member, as he discovers that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl, Elsa (Thomasin McKenzie), in their attic. Influenced by his imaginary friend, a buffoonish version of Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo begins to question his beliefs and confront the conflict between propaganda and his own humanity. As Jojo gets to know Elsa, he becomes infatuated with her but also struggles to understand her "Jew secrets." The film explores themes of Nazism, prejudice, and the human cost of war.
