In a story of primal struggle and survival, a tribal chief's death sparks a battle for leadership between Mak (Brian O'Shaughnessy) and his brother Zen, with Julie Ege's Nala caught in the middle. As the Dark Tribe navigates harsh environments and confronts rival tribes, the fate of the mute girl (Marcia Fox) is intertwined with the lives of Toomak (Tony Bonner) and Rool (Robert John), ultimately leading to a violent confrontation that will decide the future of the tribe.
