Scrooge

Alastair Sim stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly businessman visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve who show him how his unhappy childhood and adult behavior has left him a selfish, lonely old man. The film is set in Victorian England, with a setting and mood that felt like Dickensian London. The story follows Scrooge as he is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, who show him a possible future where he has died and is mourned by those around him, leading to a redemption arc as he learns to change his ways.
