Jing cha gu shi 2013

Police Story 2013 follows Detective Zhong Wen (Jackie Chan), who takes a police officer, his daughter Miao Miao (Jing Tian), and a group of strangers hostage in an attempt to retrieve his estranged daughter from the nightclub owner Wu Jiang (Liu Ye). Zhong disapproves of Miao's relationship with Wu, leading to a kidnapping plot orchestrated by Wu, who intends to exact revenge on Zhong and three other hostages. As Zhong tries to escape and rescue his daughter, he uncovers Wu's dark past and must confront him in a tense showdown.
