Interview with the Vampire

In 1991 San Francisco, reporter Daniel Molloy interviews Louis de Pointe du Lac, a vampire recounting his epic life story from 1791 to the present day. He begins by describing his human life as a wealthy plantation owner in Louisiana and his transformation into a vampire by Lestat de Lioncourt. The narrative unfolds through a series of dark and tragic events, including the brutal murder of Louis' pregnant wife, his reluctant acceptance of vampirism, and the heartbreaking loss of his adopted daughter Claudia.
