McCabe & Mrs. Miller

A gambler and a prostitute, John McCabe (Warren Beatty) and Constance Miller (Julie Christie), become financially successful business partners in the remote mining town of Presbyterian Church, Washington, establishing a house of ill repute and a gambling hall. The town's wealth attracts the attention of a large corporation, and McCabe refuses their offer to buy him out, putting his life in danger. As tensions rise, McCabe's past as a mysterious gambler and gunfighter is revealed, leading to a violent confrontation with hired guns.
