Two rival race car drivers, "The Kid" (Terence Hill) and Ben (Bud Spencer), win shared ownership over a dune buggy in a tie at a local stunt race. When a mobster destroys the car, they are determined to get it back, leading to a series of escalating violent conflicts. Along the way, they must contend with the mobster's henchmen, a German-born psychologist, and even a skilled assassin sent by the mobster, all while navigating their own rivalry and personal growth.
