Terence Hill was born Mario Girotti on March 29, 1939, in Venice, Italy, to a German mother and Italian father. He began his career as a child actor, gaining international fame for starring roles in action and comedy films with Bud Spencer. At the height of his popularity, Hill was among Italy's highest-paid actors, known for iconic spaghetti Westerns like "They Call Me Trinity" (1970) and "My Name Is Nobody" (1973).
