Operation Chromite (2016) is a South Korean spy war film directed by John H. Lee, based on a true story of Operation X-ray by ROK Navy Intelligence Unit and Operation Trudy Jackson by US Military Intelligence Unit. The film follows an American-led UN coalition's deployment to Korea in 1950, led by General Douglas MacArthur, who devises a secret plan to attack behind enemy lines at the port city of Incheon. The linchpin of this operation, Captain Jang Hak-Soo (Lee Jung-jae), a former Korean People's Army officer who defected to South Korea, leads a team of South Korean intelligence operatives on a perilous mission to gather crucial information about North Korean defenses and the Incheon harbor.
