The Winslow Boy

In 1911, Arthur Winslow, a London banker, defends his youngest son Ronnie, a 13-year-old naval cadet accused of theft, against a false charge that threatens the family's honor. With the help of his daughter Catherine, a supporter of women's suffrage, and a shrewd barrister named Sir Robert Morton, the Winslows take on the powerful Admiralty in a bid for justice. As the case creates media hysteria, the family's happiness is destroyed, but in the end, Ronnie is acquitted, and Catherine begins to see Sir Robert in a new light.
