Hubert Fiorentini, a French policeman, returns to Japan to settle the probate of his estranged Japanese girlfriend, Miko, who died under mysterious circumstances. He soon discovers that Miko was a spy who stole a fortune from the yakuza, which is now destined for his adopted daughter, Yumi, a fiery and eccentric Japanese girl he's never met. As Hubert delves deeper into the case, he must confront his troubled past and team up with a former intelligence colleague to protect Yumi from the yakuza. Along the way, he must use his unorthodox methods to take down the yakuza and uncover the truth about Miko's death.
