Dragonslayer

In a medieval kingdom, a young sorcerer's apprentice, Galen Bradwarden (Peter MacNicol), is sent to slay a dragon, Vermithrax Pejorative, to save the King's daughter, Princess Elspeth, from being sacrificed. The kingdom is plagued by the dragon, and the King has made a pact with it to appease the beast, offering it virgin maidens selected by lottery. As Galen navigates the challenges of his mission, he discovers that the lottery is rigged, and the dragon's true intentions are sinister.
