A torinói ló

The film depicts the repetitive daily lives of a horse-owner and his daughter in a desolate landscape, where they struggle to cope with the failing horse and their own existence. The daughter receives a mysterious book from a group of gypsies, which she reads that evening, but it has no discernible impact on her life. As the days pass, the horse becomes increasingly uncooperative, and the daughter's behavior becomes increasingly withdrawn, refusing to eat or talk. The father appears to follow her into silence, as the world around them seems to crumble into darkness and emptiness.
