Mitchell Goosen (Shane McDermott), a teenager from California, moves to Cincinnati, Ohio to finish his high school semester after his parents head to Australia. He meets his cousin Wiley (Seth Green) and struggles to fit in with the school's hockey team, led by Jack, who becomes a thorn in his side. With the help of his rollerblading skills and a newfound friendship with Nikki, Mitchell eventually earns the respect of his peers and finds love.
