"Café de Flore" is a Canadian drama film released in 2011, directed, written, and edited by Jean-Marc Vallée. The film follows two seemingly unrelated stories that cut between present-day Montreal and 1960s Paris, focusing on Antoine, a successful club DJ, and Jacqueline, a young mother living in Paris with her disabled son. The film's narrative builds toward the revelation of how the two stories are linked, and its soundtrack features a mix of modern electronic and orchestral sounds, including songs by The Cure, Sigur Ros, and Pink Floyd.
