Lian zheng feng yun

In a tense, 2-hour thriller, Chief Inspector Chan King Chi (Sean Lau) must track down a key witness, Jack Hui Chik-yiu (Nick Cheung), and a corrupt tobacco trading company CEO, in order to save the prosecution's case. With neither the witness nor the CEO showing up on the day of the hearing, King is given seven days to save the day. Along the way, he discovers a figure operating behind the scenes, forcing him to work with his estranged wife, Shirley Kong Suet-yee (Karena Lam).
