Hugo Ng Doi-Yung was born on August 22, 1959, in Singapore to a family of modest means. He began his career as a singer and dancer before transitioning into acting, eventually joining the New World Group and later signing with Shaw Brothers. With a career spanning over three decades, he has appeared in notable films such as "God or Dog," "The Jail of No Return," and "Take Top."
