Zuo jia de huang yan: Bi zhong you zui

A famous novelist, Xu Zhe (Zhang Jianying), receives a large inheritance after his father's passing. He rents out one of his inherited properties to Elaine Chan (Matsuoka Linah), a Japanese-Chinese woman, and they embark on an affair, causing rifts in his marriage with Jeanna Ho (Jeana Ho Pui-Yu). When Elaine is found dead in the balcony of the house, police investigation reveals suspicious factors, suspecting a more complex case than a typical kidnapping or revenge scenario.
