David Bowie: Finding Fame

The film explores the early career of David Bowie from 1965 to 1973, featuring archival footage of interviews with Bowie, commentary from his collaborators, and exclusive interviews with his former girlfriends, including Kristina Amadeus and Hermione Farthingale. The documentary also includes unseen footage from the BBC Archives and highlights Bowie's first hit in the United Kingdom, "Space Oddity," in 1969. Additionally, it features footage of Bowie's 1973 gig in Hammersmith, West London, and his groundbreaking performance of "Starman" on Top of the Pops in 1972. The film marks the final installment in director Francis Whately's trilogy of Bowie documentaries, which examines Bowie's formative years and provides insight into his rise to fame.
