Off the Black

Ray Cook, played by Nick Nolte, is an aging, disillusioned alcoholic who, after a series of unusual events, crosses paths with Dave Tibbel, played by Trevor Morgan, a high school baseball player seeking revenge against Cook for questionable calls that cost his team the crucial game of the season. The unlikely pair forms an bond, with Tibbel agreeing to pose as Cook's son for the old man's forty-year high school reunion.
