The Quarry

The Quarry follows "The Man" (Shea Whigham), a fugitive drifter who assumes the identity of David Martin, a traveling preacher, after murdering him at a quarry. The drifter finds refuge in a border town's dilapidated church, where he befriends Celia (Catalina Sandino Moreno), the girlfriend of police chief John Moore (Michael Shannon), who becomes suspicious of his true identity. As the drifter gains popularity as a preacher, his dark past slowly unravels, leading to a confrontation with the chief and his own secrets.
