Dolly Dearest

In this 1991 horror-comedy, Denise Crosby plays Marilyn Wade, the mother of Candace Hutson's character Jessica, who becomes possessed by the malevolent spirit of Dolly Dearest, a porcelain doll. The family moves to Mexico to work at the toy factory, where the doll's dark history is revealed. As the spirit's influence grows, Marilyn tries to save her daughter and husband from the doll's wrath, with the help of Rip Torn's character Karl Resnick, an archaeologist who knew the doll's dark past.
