Ithaca

In a small town in California's San Joaquin Valley, 14-year-old Homer Macauley (Alex Neustaedter) is determined to be the best and fastest bicycle telegraph messenger, taking on the responsibility of caring for his widowed mother, his older sister, and his 4-year-old brother. As Homer delivers messages of love, hope, pain, and death, he grapples with the harsh realities of war and the impact on his family. His older brother Marcus (Jack Quaid) writes regularly, sharing his life in the war, and Homer must come to terms with the possibility of his brother's demise.
