Biography
Hamish Linklater is an American actor and playwright, born on July 7, 1976, in New York City. He gained recognition for his roles as Matthew Kimble in The New Adventures of Old Christine, Clark Debussy in Legion, and Father Paul in the Netflix horror miniseries Midnight Mass. As a child, he began performing Shakespearean roles at the age of eight; his mother, Kristin Linklater, is a Scottish-born theatre professor and vocal trainer.
